Innovation Automotive partners with Halfords for EV aftersales service

Innovation Automotive, has announced a new partnership with Halfords to use the Autocentre’s electric vehicle technicians to carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and recall-related work on all Innovation Automotive vehicles. Halfords boast the largest workforce of IMI accredited electric vehicle technicians in the UK.

Paul Brigden, Innovation Automotive’s CEO, said, “We are delighted to announce our aftersales partnership with Halfords Autocentre. Not only does it add weight to our ambition to provide a seamless end-to-end service for our customers, but it offers them the peace of mind that their vehicle’s performance and safety will be optimised throughout its lifetime.”

Anthony Caie, Halfords Director of B2B services, said; “The new partnership with Innovation Automotive is an example of the efforts we’re making as a company to help the UK transition to cleaner, greener forms of mobility. This is going to be a big year for Halfords in electric vehicles. We will be training 2,000 more colleagues to service, repair and maintain electric vehicles and we are launching an electric car charging solution for our retail customers.”

Innovation Automotive recently also announced a comprehensive roadside assistance package with the AA, as well as a national logistics and vehicle transportation partnership with BCA.

Innovation Automotive is set to launch its debut vehicle, the DFSK EC35 with pricing and specifications to be announced.
