Project Overview

At the Associated Independent Stores (AIS) Headquarters, Hydra EVC delivered a six-bay Hydra Genesis AC charging hub, each outlet providing 22 kW charging power with Nayax tap-to-pay functionality for staff and visitors.

When one of the chargers developed a fault, Hydra EVC’s technical team responded swiftly to protect uptime on this live commercial site — combining remote triage with a same-day on-site visit for hands-on diagnostics and resolution.

Our Approach

  • Conducted remote triage followed by same-day site attendance

  • Performed electrical and communications checks and verified Nayax payment terminals

  • Refreshed charger configuration and completed functional tests

  • Proactively inspected the remaining five units, tightening terminations where needed

  • Verified earth-leakage protection and ran end-to-end payment test transactions

  • Confirmed accurate back-office reporting and network connectivity.
