The HYDRA APOLLO MAX is unique in the marketplace and at the forefront of commercial EV charging technology for public charging locations.
In addition to offering simultaneous, load-balanced, ultra-rapid DC charging for two vehicles, the Hydra Apollo MAX is designed as a premium, freestanding advertising totem with a built-in 55” DIGITAL SCREEN.
This offers almost limitless potential additional revenue for a public EV charging location, on top of the revenue generated from the EV charging facilities.
The built-in RFID card reader can control access to the charger and help monitor usage, while the optional CONTACTLESS PAYMENT TERMINAL allows app-free charging to users outside of your organisation.
As with all Hydra EV charging solutions, the Apollo is OCPP compliant, allowing secure and real-time communications with our unique HYDRA NEXUS management platforms via wired comms or a 4G data connection. It can also communicate with other management platforms for CPOs with existing charging networks.
The Hydra Apollo has built-in safety functions that can shut down the charger if it detects input under voltage, input over-voltage, output short-circuit, output over-voltage, output over-current, reverse battery connection communications failure, insulation detection, etc.
Every Hydra Apollo is now pre-installed with the EMBED Digital Display Platform. (see below)

Embed signage is a digital display platform packed with powerful scheduling options, a beautiful and intuitive visual builder, custom user roles to allow team collaboration, content apps, widgets, plugins, analytics, and more. Embed is pre-installed onto each Hydra Apollo Digital Display Totem and EV charge point. This allows the Hydra Apollo to secure two very lucrative income streams: One from the EV charging facilities and one from digital advertising. The feature-rich platform offers incredible tools such as conditional rule-based content playback by days, dates, times, geo-location, weather states, temperature, wind speeds, device connectivity and astronomical clock. Integrations include SSO & user provisioning with Azure AD and Okta, the ability to display Seenspire content feeds, and native integration with external sensors from Nexmosphere for things like presence or motion detection.
