We recently joined Motorhome Matt to discuss the EV infrastructure requirements of the Motorhome, Caravan and Leisure industry.
Electric Motorhome owners and people towing caravans with electric vehicles face a unique set of hurdles. Primarily the size of their unit compared to a normal family car excludes them from the vast majority of standard car park spaces with EV chargepoints.
Then their is the power infrastructure requirements faced by campsites and holiday parks wanting to install EV chargepoints. These locations are often in out of the way places so upgrading the power to the site can be problematic, and expensive!
