The tethered cable on tethered Hydra charger models is an integral part of the unit and is not designed to be replaced independently.
Only parts and accessories purchased directly from Hydra EVC Ltd or an authorised Hydra distributor are approved for use.
Using non-genuine parts may also compromise the safety, performance, and certification of your charger. This is covered under clauses 36 and 37 of our Terms and Conditions.
Unless the seller is Hydra EVC Ltd directly (hydraev.co.uk) or a Hydra-authorised distributor, any parts, cables, or accessories sold under the Hydra brand name are not endorsed or authorised by us.
Using non-genuine parts will void your warranty and may create a safety risk.
If you have purchased a product you believe is counterfeit or fraudulently branded, please contact us at support@hydraev.co.uk.
Under clause 37 of our Terms and Conditions, we accept no liability for loss or damage arising from the use of non-genuine parts.

If the installation does not meet this standard, the warranty may be void.

This is covered under clause 40 of our Terms and Conditions.
This depends on how and where the charger was installed.
Hydra EVC chargers carry an IP (Ingress Protection) rating that defines the level of water and dust resistance.
If your charger was installed in accordance with the IP rating guidance in the product data sheet and has still suffered water ingress, please contact us and we will investigate.
However, if the charger was installed in a location that does not meet the environmental requirements in the data sheet, or has been exposed to flooding, extreme weather, or corrosive substances, this is not covered under warranty.
See clause 42 of our Terms and Conditions.
Yes. Modifying OCPP settings without prior written authorisation from Hydra EVC, installing unofficial firmware, or using third-party software to control or configure your charger will void the warranty.
If you need to make changes to your charger's network or OCPP configuration, please contact us first at support.hydraev.co.uk.
All firmware updates should only be applied through official Hydra EVC channels.
This is covered under clause 43 of our Terms and Conditions.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
You may be covered if the original warranty period has not expired and you register within 30 days of taking ownership of the property.
To activate the remaining warranty period, you must register the charger at hydraev.co.uk/warranty within 30 days of your property completion date.
If you have a Hydra Notus charger, please note that the Year 3 parts-only cover requires that registration was completed before the end of Year 2 from the original installation registration date.
If Year 2 has already passed and registration was not completed, Year 3 cover is not available.
For all registration queries, contact support@hydraev.co.uk.
This is covered under clause 51 of our Terms and Conditions.
Under clause 51 of our Terms and Conditions, it is the developer or housebuilder's responsibility to either register the warranty on your behalf before handover, or to provide you with clear written notice of the registration requirement and the applicable deadlines.
If this was not done, please contact us at support@hydraev.co.uk as soon as possible with your installation details and proof of ownership.
We will review your case and advise on the options available.
For Hydra Notus chargers, please be aware that the Year 3 parts-only cover has a registration deadline of before the end of Year 2 from the original installation date, so prompt action is important.
